Program Overview: Prepare for pilot season or becoming a TV series regular in this 8-week program. Participants will:

  • Learn TV script handling through table reads and episodic preparation.
  • Train with celebrity coaches (Zoom sessions from Hollywood, CA).
  • Explore castability with top 8 comedy and drama characters.
  • Perform roles from a 30-minute episodic script (rotated every 8 weeks).

Schedule:

  • Thursday’s: 6:30-8:00 PM MST (Tweens & Teens).
  • Wednesdays: 6:30-8:30 PM MST (Teens & Adults).
  • Duration: 2 hours/week for 8 weeks.

Demo Reel Goals:

  • Develop 2-minute dramatic and comedic demo reels.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Television Categories: Learn the 15 TV categories, differences between network, cable, and streaming platforms, and how casting opportunities align with them.
  • Actor Toolbox: Master essential acting skills, self-taping, networking, and navigating the business side of acting.
  • Casting Preparation: Understand the audition-to-booking process, character preparation, and tips for standing out.
  • Becoming a Series Regular: Build a strong acting portfolio, pursue networking opportunities, and manage a long-term TV acting career.
  • Television Reel Creation: Create and refine a standout TV reel showcasing your best work for casting directors.

About the Program: Our eight-week program is designed to prepare actors for pilot season or becoming a TV series regular. Participants will: ✔ Learn how to handle TV scripts through table reads and episodic preparation.

  • Train with celebrity coaches (live via Zoom from Hollywood, CA).
  • Explore the top 8 characters in comedy and drama to discover castability.
  • Perform roles selected from a 30-minute episodic script (new script every 8 weeks).

Schedule:

  • Thursday's 6:30- 8:00 PM MST (Tweens & Teens only)
  • Wednesdays: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM MST (Teens & Adults)
  • Duration: 2 hours per week for 8 weeks.
