3. Prepare to Record in a Studio
- Address of Studio will be Provided upon Confirmation
- Our Lehi, Utah studio has soundproofing, professional equipment, and an experienced engineer.
- Access to Professional Equipment
- High-quality microphones (e.g., Neumann TLM 103 or Sennheiser MKH 416).
- Pop filters to reduce plosives.
- Digital audio interfaces for clean recording.
- Work with our Music Producer / Director
- Hire a voice-over coach or director to guide your performance and ensure high standards.
- Our Studio uses Professional Editing Software
- We use Pro Tools, Audacity, & Adobe Audition to edit and clean recordings.
- Incorporate Background Music
- We will match music and add sound effects to each style for a polished, professional demo.
How to Prepare to Create Demo Reels
- You will be sent a Portfolio of Scripts
- Study the copy sent to you including our 6–10 scripts per demo type; they will be diverse and fit your vocal range.
- Warm Up Before Recording
- Perform vocal exercises to ensure clarity and prevent strain.
- Refine your technique, pacing, and emotional delivery with a coach.
- Test Run will be Done Before Recording
- Work on your diction, breath control, and versatility to excel in each style.
- Demo Content are Around 60 Seconds Each
- Each Demo Type is about 60–90 seconds or for song recordings this will vary.
- Test Runs
- Record practice runs to identify strengths and areas to improve.
- Branding You
- We can send your referrals to photographers, apps to cartoon your image for demo reel covers, private vocal coaches, and more to insure your demo reel reflects your unique voice and personal brand.
